REDMAGIC community, REDMAGIC survey

Hey REDMAGIC Community,

In 2025, thousands of REDMAGIC owners answered questions about how they use their phones, what they play, what they love, and what they want us to do better. Our community across Saudi Arabia and the UAE answered honestly, and what you told us shapes how we think about everything we do for players across the Middle East and the wider GCC.

This is what you told us.

You Know Exactly What You Want

When we looked at what drives purchase decisions in our Middle East community, the picture was clear. Chip performance and battery life came out on top, consistent with what we see globally. But this community went further. Shoulder triggers and build quality ranked as meaningful purchase drivers here in a way that stood out compared to most other regions in the survey.

That is not a coincidence. It reflects a community that approaches hardware seriously, that cares about how a device feels under pressure, and that wants every component to contribute to how they play. You are not buying a phone that happens to run games. You are building a setup.

Fun Fact: Overall satisfaction among our Saudi Arabia and UAE respondents came in at 8.76 out of 10. The community is happy. But we are more interested in the gap between 8.76 and 10, because that is where the real work is.

Who You Are

The Middle East REDMAGIC community is younger than most markets in the survey, with the 25 to 34 age group making the largest share, followed closely by 35 to 44. The income profile here is also notably higher than most other regions globally, and users in Saudi Arabia and the UAE show a greater willingness to invest in premium hardware than anywhere else in the program.

Fun Fact: 40% of our Saudi Arabia and UAE respondents use REDMAGIC as a secondary device dedicated specifically to gaming, not as their daily driver. That is the highest secondary-device rate of any market we surveyed. Everywhere else, 80 to 90% of users carry REDMAGIC as their primary phone. Here, a significant portion of you run a separate device just for gaming. That tells us something important about how seriously this community approaches its sessions.

PUBG Runs This Community

Globally, Call of Duty Mobile leads as the most played game among REDMAGIC users. Not here. In Saudi Arabia and the UAE, PUBG Mobile is the dominant title at 53%, with Call of Duty Mobile close behind at 44%. FIFA Mobile also appeared at 14%, higher than in most other markets.

These are not casual games. They are competitive, session-heavy titles that expose weak hardware quickly. PUBG and CODM players know that latency and frame consistency are not preferences. They are the difference between winning and not. This community does not play these games casually.

Fun Fact: The most trusted source of information when purchasing a smartphone among our Middle East respondents was friends and family, with a trust score of 4.19 out of 5. That is the highest score of any information source in the entire global survey program, across every market. More than creators, more than media reviews, more than anything else. Word of mouth is everything in this community. What does that say about you? It says you look after each other.

What games are you running right now? Tell us in the comments.

You Play Everywhere

The Middle East REDMAGIC community is not waiting for the perfect setup. You play at home, while traveling, during commutes, and outdoors. Gaming is embedded into the rhythm of the day, not reserved for a desk or a dedicated session time.

That reality sits behind every decision we make about cooling endurance and battery capacity. A ranked match in the back of a car during summer in Riyadh should run as clean as one on your couch. That is not aspirational. It is a design requirement.

YouTube Found You. Your Community Convinced You.

YouTube was the top discovery channel for our Middle East community, consistent with most markets globally. But what stood out in the data was what came second. The majority of players who found REDMAGIC through personal connections did so through friends and family, the highest rate of any market in the entire global survey. This community recommends to each other more than almost anywhere else in the world.

Instagram and TikTok followed as strong secondary channels, and X remains more prominent in this region than almost anywhere else we surveyed. Snapchat usage here is also uniquely high, a pattern that barely registered in any other market.

What's Coming, Because You Asked

You told us what you love. You were equally clear about what you want us to improve.

Software updates and long-term support topped the improvement requests from our Middle East community, coming in as the most raised concern by a significant margin and the highest rate in the entire global survey. You are not just asking for performance today. You want to know the device you invest in will be supported tomorrow. We hear that, and it is informing how we think about every product commitment going forward.

Software smoothness was the second most raised area for improvement, and e-SIM support followed closely behind, a clear reflection of how important local carrier compatibility is across the region.

Arabic localization was also among the more prominent requests from this community, one of the higher rates in the program globally. For a community where Arabic is the first language for most players, we know this matters and it is something we are actively working on.

On customer service, you rated us at 8.18 out of 10. We are not presenting that as a win. Customer service is an area we know needs to improve, and the feedback from this community makes that plain. We are committed to working on it, and we are saying that directly rather than burying it in a footnote.

One more thing worth calling out: those of you who purchased through third-party platforms like Noon and Amazon rated your experience higher than those who bought through the official site. That gap is something we are taking seriously.

You Are the Reason This Exists

This survey exists because we do not want to guess what the community needs. We want to hear it. The feedback from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the wider GCC community across the Middle East is directly shaping what we prioritize, what we build, and what we commit to in the months ahead.

Keep filling out the surveys. Keep tagging us. Keep being honest about what works and what does not.

That is how this gets better for everyone.

See you in the next one.
